Staff

The staff is made up of dedicated Christian people who love the Lord and have a genuine love for children.   They are trained to work with children and spend time in preparation for each day's activities.   They each have a health certificate on file at the Pre-School showing them to be free from communicable diseases.

Food

A hot meal is provided by the Pre-School and a nutritious snack in the morning and afternoon.   Children are not to bring food from home unless otherwise authorized by the Director.   On the child's birthday, the parents may bring cupcakes or some other treat for the child's class to have during snack time.

Dress

It is important that your child be comfortable and not be concerned with having to keep clean.   Dress your child in play clothes that can be washed.   Open Toe Sandals are dangerous to wear when running and jumping outdoors.   We ask that you send your child to school in shoes - not sandals or flip flops.

Health

Each child must have a medical form which has been signed by a physician on file at the time of enrollment.

If your child has any of the following symptoms at home, we ask that you keep him/her out of school until the symptoms are gone or until your physician says it is all right to return:

If your child does become ill, you will be notified and asked to come and get your child.   If a child has a fever he/she will not be readmitted until he/she has been free of a fever for 24 hours.

If the child is taking an antibiotic, he/she must not come until 24 hours after the first dose.   Medications will not be administered at School unless a written Medication Consent Form is completed for each medicine given.

To administer sunscreen, diaper ointment, or insect repellent a written consent form will need to be completed. &nbsp Please bring any medication to the pre-school office and complete the form for administering the medicine.

Outdoor play

The children play outdoors almost everyday.   Please send your child in clothes suitable for outdoor play and according to the weather.   If you feel your child should not go outside on a particular day, you must leave a note for the teacher.   If a child is required to stay indoors 3 out of 5 days, we will ask for a note from your doctor.

What to bring to Pre-school

Be sure that your child has a change of clothing in his/her cubby at all times.

If your child naps, please send a twin size flat sheet or large towel with your child's name on it for them to use on a cot during rest time.   This will be sent home each Friday to be laundered and returned on Monday.

We do not allow children to bring toys to Pre-school except on Show-n-Tell Day.

Your child will need to keep a paint shirt in his/her cubby.

Be sure to check your child's cubby each day for papers or notes from the office.
